New Rats 4/25/2024

More Tiny rat beans are available.

While other stores may set their rats up for failure, we set ours up for success. On top of daily interaction, we have a volunteer every Monday and Friday that showers the ratties with love plus yummy snacks. We have a rat expert on staff almost every day of the week and highly encourage large husbandry for lifelong enrichment. In this last month, we’ve taken in 22 surrenders, 10 of which are still looking for new forever families and second chances. If you’re looking for a committed pet that only lives an average of two years, consider researching rats and stopping by to ask us questions.

New Small Animals 04/09/2024

Zebra Finches, Society Finches, and surrendered Dumbo rats.

Earlier this week we received a beautiful Dumbo mother rat and her little weanling babies. She came from a loving family, but the shop they got her from mixed males and females, hence the 12 lovely babies came to be. Please help us find some good homes for this rat family. We have cages, food, toys, and hides to get anyone started.

New rats are available! 01/23/2024

The baby rats are ready!

These adorable little potatoes are four weeks old and excited for their new families. We have hairless, rex, normal coat, and dumbos! Five babies will be with their moms till Thursday, such as the hairless female dumbo in picture three, because they were born a few days after the others.

We highly encourage getting a group of three for an established hierarchy, but we are also offering duos.

New Hamsters 12/08/2023

Our baby black Syrian Hamsters are ready for new homes!

They’re playful, energetic, and will keep you entertained for hours. These little critters love to climb, explore, and have a blast on their exercise wheels. They all came from a massive litter of 10, in which mom will be available for adoption as well!

Three helpful tips for new owners:

1.) Tanks ARE better than small plastic cages. As a bare minimum, they should be provided a 20-long tank, although a 40-breeder is recommended for optimal health and lifespan.

2.) A hamster’s instinct is to burrow, so providing a few inches of substrate is vital for enrichment. Having a tall wire cage is not as good as having a deep bottom enclosure in which they can make tunnels.

3.) They are not aggressive, they are prey animals. Humans are giants and look like predators, therefore we are scary. Our tiny friends need to slowly be shown that they can trust us and that we won’t hurt them.

Pair o’ pigs!

We have a momma Guinea pig and her baby pig in need of a fur-ever home. They are very verbal little gals who love their greens and hay. These two will only be sold as a pair, *BUT* they will be the price of one. Both ladies are pictured below.

Our little boys are neutered, descended, and vaccinated for Distemper, but what’s even more impressive? They’re as social and cuddly as can be. Stop by and watch these cute noodles snuggle in a puddle, or watch them get the zoomies!

This pair will only be available together, as they’re a bonded pair born on 01/10/2021 and 01/03/2023. They come with their registration papers and health certificates.
