Did you know Pistol Shrimp are nearly blind?

This species likes to pair with gobies in a symbiotic relationship. The goby watches out for the Pistol Shrimp by chasing off fish that get close, while the Pistol Shrimp makes a safe and cozy home. This pairing mostly depends on the size of the goby.

We are absolutely in love with our newest color variations. 💚 Just look at those solid, intricate patterns! A fun fact about Discus is they prefer clean water, so it’s critical to have a proper filtration system for them to thrive. Did you know there are roughly 950 different species of urchin?! 🤯 Of all the different species, only 18 are edible as some urchins are deadly, for example The Flower Sea Urchin that can cause severe pain, respiratory problems, and even paralysis! 💀🌸
