Saltwater Saturday Spotlight: the Spotted Sweetlips! Also known as the Clown or Harlequin Sweetlips, this fish is beautiful to watch transform as it matures. While it is a peaceful fish, it does get large and caution should be taken with invertebrates. Their undulating swimming pattern is thought to mimic poisonous flatworms, deterring predators. Endemic to Lake Inle (Myanmar), these fish will thrive best in a tank that is luscious with plant cover and hiding spaces. The safer they feel, the more you’ll see them!
