This week we want to feature our favorite new and old arrivals. Starting off strong here’s an adorable Sand Sifting Cucumber! Just look at those tiny little soft spines along its body. Then we have an awesome picture of our social Kleini Butterfly. Thirdly we have a Sea Hare, which is equivalent to an underwater slug. New shrimp species are available!

Blue Jelly, Red Fancy Tiger Shrimp, Blue Panda Shrimp, and more! This week we’re expanding our freshwater shrimp to an even broader selection with uncommon and SS grade species. What makes shrimp so beneficial? They are a perfect tool, especially for tanks that struggle with water chemistry due to overfeeding, as they devour extra food that falls to the bottom of an aquarium.

Why would should you consider a Moss Ball? 🌱

Not only do they naturally absorb toxic nitrates in aquariums and function like miniature filters, but you don’t have to feed them! Their only living requirements are low-level light and freshwater. ☀️

Another addition to consider adding to your aquarium is Mystery Snails! There is a lot of misconception about Mystery Snails. 🐌 This species cannot reproduce asexually like nuisance snails, and they come in colors such as purple, yellow, orange, and Ivory.

What do these species have in common? 🤔 They can both be housed with Betta’s!

It’s perfect weather outside for transportation!🛻

Fall is almost here and we are preparing all our tanks for the busy season. 🏃‍♀️🏃 We highly recommend getting some fish before the ice hits the roads, as winter in Minnesota seems to come without warning. ❄️ When you’re stuck inside on a cold winter day, nothing beats sitting and watching the fish dance around an aquarium. 😎
