This Fire Cleaner Shrimp is checking for cavities. They help fish by removing the access food, dead tissues, and parasites. These invertebrates are also helpful to Moray Eels! The eels will open their mouths for the shrimp to climb in to clean out all the crevasses and possible parasites. Some Fire Cleaner Shrimp like to be handfed on top of eating the extra food that falls to the bottom of your aquarium. No new arrivals this week, but we still have tons of fish, corals, and invertebrates to choose from! All our previous arrivals are on our website below!
What a beautiful day to show off our new Yellow Sunshine Peacocks! Our pictures can not do justice to how beautiful these are. Certain fish can fluctuate their colors between vibrant and darker shades based on their mood. Other factors such as mating, sickness, and environmental stimuli can also affect their color.
