New plants! 03/16/23

We are green with envy this week or maybe it’s the luck of the Irish. The Plant Department is filled with lots of green easy to advanced pants including Water Sprite. As an easy, frilly fern like plant that you can float for broader leaves. Or plant it to keep a great spot for fish to take a break in. Parrot Feather is a fast growing stem plant that prefers a little more nutrients and light for full feathery leaves.

Guess what, we’ve got more swords and they’re even bigger than before. Tall thank? No problem, the Amazon and Oriental Swords are almost too tall for our tanks and would look better in yours. Jungle, Italian and Contortion Vallisneria are great for hiding equipment in your tanks and fish love to swim through like 60s beaded curtains.

Freshwater Friday 02/24/23

HUGE RESTOCK INCLUDING AMAZON PUFFERFISH!! Make sure to stop by on your way home for the weekend, as some are limited quantity. ⌛️ One of the new fish we received was the Amazon Leaf Fish which wait for their prey to swim by and SNATCH them. 🍃🦴 We also got a new shrimp called Amano Shrimp XL that have been cleaning their tank non-stop since they arrived, but on occasion they do take union breaks. 😂👷‍♂️ For the full list of the newest arrivals please check out below.

Check out the Sparkle Sword that features lush green leaves with some light green to yellow speckles. Just remember, swords are heavy root feeders. Hiring in our Saltwater Department!

We’re looking for Saturday help in our saltwater department (potential for Fridays, too, if interested)! 🐡 Our weekends are BuSy, so the pace is fast but also FUN! With the excitement of weekend work also comes exciting benefits (especially if you’re looking to stock your own tank 😉🤫). Knowledge and experience with marine aquariums is mandatory.

Creating depth in an aquarium is easy to do with plants, especially with what came in this week! With our large Anubias you can create a nice backdrop to some smaller eye catching Crypts or more Anubias. If your looking for splashes of green, Buceaphalandra is great for attaching to rock, wood or other decorations. There’s always lots to explore in the Plant Department. PS don’t forget to look up as we’ve added even more pieces of wood!
